BIOGRAPHY
Ja'Bari Knight-Jenkins born June 12th , 1993 in Vallejo, Ca. Brought up in what is known as "The Sev". (707 area of the Bay area) Trials and tribulations in the early stages of his life ,with the addition of legal troubles starting in his teens groomed the talented young man known today as JayBars.
JayBars the Hoodstar a name his peers gave him around the age of 10. JaBari participated in many city sports leagues in his community. "I actually wanted to be in the Nba or NFL" Between the death of his mother in 2008 and an ankle injury, a sports career seemed a little farfetched.
"As a young man it was hard to decipher what was wrong and right when theres a roller coaster of emotions inside of you. Music became my voice to express myself."
In 2008 JaBari started to take his music serious. Some people say he's like equivalent to a Bay Area version of Lil Wayne.
" I dont have think I have an actual style. I jus take how i feel and put it into words."
Nowadys father of 3 JayBars attends SAE Expression Institute for Audio engineering, as well as run "Truly Talented Music Group".
"I plan to expand to a mega multimedia company. I've always wanted to own my piece of the entertainment industry." Besides the music Mr. Knight-Jenkins pursues other business ventures while being a father to 3 children.
